![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I am looking forward to reading more Talia and I cannot wait to get my hands on the other two Brown Sister books. If that is what you are in the mood for then I would absolutely recommend this book. Overall, this book was cute, cosy and fluffy! The writing style was easy and the story was sweet. It was slightly strange to read about a character I can relate with so much. I can relate to Chloe so much, I think I often come across moody or grumpy when actually, I just hurt. I appreciate how carefully Talia Hibbert went about discussing Chloe’s disability and the constant pain she was in. I do not think I could pick a favourite character out of these two, both were wonderful! They bounced off each other so well and seeing them go from enemies to lovers… was a journey! The banter between Chloe and Red was hilarious, they were so funny together! If you love the ‘Grumpy x Sunshine’ trope then this book is for you. But Chloe has a plan and an utterly adorable to-do list: to help her to, quite literally, get a life. Though she’s close with her family, her illness has made it difficult to have a social life. This book felt real, the people and the situations all felt real. Chloe Brown is chronically illafter getting pneumonia years ago she has fibromyalgia and is always tired and sick. I found Talia Hibbert did a wonderful job of covering many sensitive topics in this book. This book was so cute! I have not read many romance books, and I was a bit worried that I was reading this book in the wrong order, as I know there are a few books in the Brown Sister Series. “You are a woman who, in a life filled with pain, came here to ask about love.” ![]()
